Last month was Fire Prevention Week. The Barnard Fire District held our annual "Win A Ride on a Fire Truck Contest". Area students were asked to make a home fire escape plan and practice their plan with their family. One lucky student from each of our area schools was selected as a contest winner. This year's contest winner for English Village School was kindergarten student, Jayde Stemmer. Here grand prize ride, took place on Wednesday, November 12th.
