Yesterday the Barnard Fire District received the new upgraded Generation III Hurst spreaders and cutters. These extrication tools were made possible by the fund raising efforts of the Barnard Fire Department's summertime Bands series. Thank you to the Department and the community for your support to allow this equipment to be purchased for our Rescue incidents.

For the Fire Fighters, we will have a short inservice training, then the tools will be mounted on Rescue 228.
