Last Week, Barnard Fire Fighters delivered a pile of donated, used "Turnout" Gear to the RocMaidan organization at their facility on the Xerox Campus in Webster, NY. This gear is no longer usable by our fire fighting standards in the States due to its age, however, the gear is still servicable and was washed and delivered by one of crews. RocMaidan is a local non-for profit organization that collects donated items, inventories and packages the items, for delivery to the ports. They have now shipped 40 containers oversees since the war started. Besides fire fighting gear and rescue items, they are collecting a variety of medical equipment and supplies.
