NOTICE OF SPECIAL REFERENDUM

A Special Referendum for qualified voters of the Barnard Fire District will take place at 3084 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, New York, on May 18, 2026. Polls will open at 5:00 p.m. and remain open until 9:00 p.m. The referendum will allow voters to decide on the following proposition:

Proposition #1 involves the approval of a resolution by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Barnard Fire District. The resolution, adopted on April 30, 2026, authorizes the Board to sell a 2017 Spartan Fire Engine valued at over $100,000. The final sale price will be determined by the current market. Voters will be asked whether this resolution should be approved.
