Barnard Fire District units responded to Stonewood Ave at the Matthews and Fields Lumber after a man experienced a medical problem while working on the roof of a large dust collector unit approximately 30 feet in the air.

Barnard firefighter paramedics rendered medical aid to the man on the roof and with the assistance of North Greece Fire District Quint 270 safely removed the man to the ground for transport to the hospital by Monroe Ambulance.

The Barnard Fire District is proud to be home to Monroe County's ONLY firefighter paramedic program and to have such great mutual aid partners within the Town of Greece.

This is another great example of how town-wide teamwork continues to enhance emergency services delivery and efficiency for all of the citizens of the Greece area.

Units: Barnard E225 & S226
