20 years ago our nation was attacked, and besides the numerous civilian casulaties in NYC, the Pentagon and Shanksville PA we lost first responders including law enforcement, EMS personnel and 343 FDNY Fire Fighters. This year the 4 fire districts in the town of Greece (Barnard, Lake Shore, North Greece and Ridge Road) stood shoulder to shoulder for a brief ceremony to remember the scarifices given that day. Thank you to the Greece Central School District for use of the school for this event.

We shall all never forget and we shall all, never take life or the simple important things in life, for granted.
